Auchterarder is small town located at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perth and Kinross and within easy reach from the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. With its one and half mile long high street, surrounding countryside, golf courses and walking and cycling routes there's plenty to do for all ages.


With over 50 golf courses around Auchterderader, you won't have to travel far for practice shots or that whole round.


Whether you're a seasoned walker or just like a ramble, Perthshire has lots of walking routes to suit all ages. And if you prefer something a bit more strenuous, why not try a munro!


There are over 2000 square miles of countryside with cycling routes. For family fun cycles, you can enjoy scenic routes and take in the beautiful scenery or for those more experienced there are more challenging terrains.


Auchterderader is a convenient centre for fishing in the nearby River Earn as well as other excellent stocked fisheries in the Ochil Hills that overlook the town. From trout and salmon to giant pikes.
